Description: |
Our Client is a journals publisher in need of a Manager for Special Sales to the Pharma and Medical Education industries, including but not limited to supplement sales, sponsored subscriptions and single sponsored publications.
The right person will
- Have a moderate travel schedule
- Ideally be located in NJ, NY or PA
- Have at least 5 years in publishing, preferably STM
- Be responsible for project management of supplements during production
- Routinely work with editors for ideas/leads for sponsorship of subscriptions
- Call on marketing and product managers at pharmaceutical and medical education companies
- Will also handle some sales to government agencies as well
This is a new position with a rapidly growing and well respected publisher.
A innovative and creative thinker with solid sales skills and work ethics will go a long way with this company and this position.
This position offers a decent salary + car allowance and quarterly bonus.
