Description: |
Our Client is in need of a Publisher to have full responsibility for management, direction, development, profitability and coordination of all aspects of the Client's publishing program.
This person will have responsibility for
- Strategic list building
- Acquisition planning and negotiations
- Delivering books to the Master schedule on time and within budget
- Working with the Magazine Division to ensure that consumer needs are met and franchise goals are attained
Qualified candidates will have at least 10 years overall work experience in leading/managing a large team in a business environment. They will also have a proven track record in handling change and understand the proper approach to infuse change. They also need to understand the level of passion that special interest readers have for unique collections and leisure time interests.
