Description: |
Our Client is seeking a Sr Acquisitions Editor for their Chemistry discipline.
The right person
- Will be responsible for strategic planning and list building
- Will have acquisitions experience in this discipline
- Will need to be able to communicate effectively with Chemistry instructors (but does not need a chemistry degree)
-
Will need to travel 20 - 25% for campus visits, conferences, etc. and maybe 1 trip/year to Europe
These titles will mainly be upper level/ grad level texts with some large reference books in the mix as well. Also, relocation will be provided, or the right person may be able to work out of a NY/CA office.
