Description:
Our Client is seeking a Sr Acquisitions Editor for their Chemistry discipline.
The right person
Will be responsible for strategic planning and list building
Will have acquisitions experience in this discipline
Will need to be able to communicate effectively with Chemistry instructors (but does not need a chemistry degree)
Will need to travel 20 - 25% for campus visits, conferences, etc. and maybe 1 trip/year to Europe
These titles will mainly be upper level/ grad level texts with some large reference books in the mix as well. Also, relocation will be provided, or the right person may be able to work out of a NY/CA office.
