Our Client is in need of a Sr Marketing Manager to support Retailer Marketing/Sales programs.
This is a new position within my clients US organization.
This person will

Work with VP of Marketing and Retail Sales Teams to develop/implement global marketing

Work closely with Co-op dollars across a wide range of portfolios/subject areas
-
Support Revenue, Growth and Profit objectives for key US and European trade accounts
-
Be involved in managing US and International Coop programs for retailers/trade accounts
-
Be responsible for regular visits to and growing relationships with key retailers/trade accounts
-
Work with colleagues internal sales and marketing colleagues to develop/implement plans
-
Develop/implement plans to improve sales via exhibits and adoptions
-
Need to travel 35% - 40% to 10 - 12 key national and international accounts

Continually monitor/measure results of marketing and co-op efforts and adjust efforts as needed
Qualifications needed are

Previous Major or National Account Level sales experience

Strong organization skills and able to easily multi-task

Good knowledge of trade markets and book sales processes in the trade markets

Minimum 2-3 years of publishing and/or marketing experience

Strong level of computer literacy with Microsoft Office Suite
This is a new position within my clients US operation and they are ideally seeking a person with experience selling to or marketing with key trade accounts such as Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Borders and European retailers such as Gardners and Bertrams
